Our Service Users can enjoy local community facilities such as parks, cafes and shops. Additionally, they can participate in activities like swimming, ten pin bowling and visits to museums and art galleries.
We regularly discuss and develop new activities based on the views and interests of those using our services. Our carers are highly trained to meet the needs of clients at all levels of disability.
We hold regular reviews to ensure that our services continue to meet your needs. We work closely with you and your family to find out what's important to you, now and in the future.
To recognise the diverse cultures of all who come to the centre, we celebrate special days and festivals.
Seva Transport provides full door to door transport service for all our service users at a substantially reduced rate. All our vehicles are wheelchair accessible.
We have two modern purpose built changing rooms with overhead hoists and changing beds.
Therapy and Sensory Room:
This room is designed for therapeutic sessions and equipped with sensory equipment.
Our Person Centred Plan is tailored to assist people to plan their needs and support. It is designed to facilitate, increase and improve independence and involvement within the community. The Service Manager will carry out an assessment with the person and parent/carer so that together they can identify the person’s needs and the objectives they want to achieve. Both parties can then develop a Support Plan to help achieve the goals. Our key workers will build a positive relationship with the individual to promote change and will work with them to implement their plan, coordinating their support and arranging activities as required.
If you are 18 years and older then our transition training flat is the ideal way to help you on your pathway to independent living. You will gain experience in the following: housekeeping; cooking; menu planning; money management; self care and much more, all tailored to your individual needs.
You are welcome to come along for a free taster day, with transport provided, please contact us and we will be happy to arrange a day suitable for you.
