Sudbury House is a Residential Home for adults with a learning disability specially meeting the cultural needs of service users mainly from an Asian background.
Sudbury House is a 5 bed home located in North Wembley, Brent, and registered and inspected by the 'Care Quality Commission', (CQC).
Sudbury House is registered to provide care for adults (18-65) with a learning disability. Some of our clients also have a physical disability.
Sudbury House is suitably located close to all amenities (shopping centres, leisure centres, therapeutic centres, parks, temples, cinemas, theatres.
We work very closely with Brent and Harrow Learning Disability Teams and specialists (community psychiatrists, nurses, GP's, opticians, chiropodists and other similar professionals)
We aim to deliver the highest possible standards of care for the residents, covering all areas of need.
To achieve this, we use the process called the Person Centred ' care' Planning (PCP) System. The system is based upon choice , participation, dignity, respect and opportunity as its underpinning principles. The system covers all areas of the resident's needs e.g. physical needs, mental health needs, social needs, environmental needs, and spiritual needs, ethnic and cultural needs, aspirations and goals.
